Digital calibration certificates
A certificate is only useful if you can find it. Attaching it to the device record means the proof lives with the scale — not in the technician's van or last year's email.
WHAT A CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE SHOWS
THE DEVICEManufacturer, model, serial number — and, on a registered scale, its Registry ID.
WHO PERFORMED THE WORKThe service company or laboratory, and the licence, registration, or accreditation they hold.
WHAT WAS MEASUREDTest loads, results, tolerances applied, and whether the device passed.
TRACEABILITYThe standards used and their traceability — for accredited laboratories, under ISO/IEC 17025 scope.
WHENDate performed and, where applicable, when the next test is due.
We do not issue certificates.
Calibration is performed and certified by licensed service companies and accredited laboratories — never by
ScaleRegistry. Our role is to store what they issue, keep it attached to the right device, and present it when
someone needs to see it. Device type approval is separate again: that comes from
NTEP,
OIML, or your national authority.
HOW IT WORKS IN PRACTICE
UPLOAD OR CAPTUREAttach the certificate to the device record after a service visit, with photos of the device and its approval plate as supporting evidence.
IT STAYS WITH THE SCALESold, moved, or re-tested, the history follows the Registry ID.
SHOW IT ON DEMANDScan the QR label to open the record. Only fields you have chosen to publish are visible publicly.
