This is a worked example, not a real scale. The model information below is real and cited to Rice Lake's own product documentation. Everything about this particular device — Registry ID, serial number, owner, dates and service history — is invented for illustration and marked SAMPLE. No such scale exists.

What the device record holds
This half is specific to one physical instrument. It is what turns "a 1280" into "your 1280, in bay 3, calibrated last April".

The registry does not certify anything. It records what the calibrating company reported, and tells the owner when the next interval falls due.
History
Every entry is attached to the Registry ID rather than to a spreadsheet row, which is what makes it survive a change of technician, of owner, or of building.
